Moire Railing

Our client requested a railing that would obscure the entrance to the basement and protect their children from falling in. We conceived of this project in order to create a point of interest. its adjanecy to the patio space meant that people would be moving around it. Our 45 degree detail allowed for the railing to become a focal point as you move through the garden to the house through the patio. Its angle obscures the area when viewing from the house but allows a view of the area from other points of view. The all steel construction and black powdercoat fit will with the mixed brick of the houses facade.
