Bronze Patina Paintings

As a factor of the prototype process the bronze paintings were created. In order to understand the chemical effects of acid patina on bronze, along with their interactions on surfaces the bronze was sanded to a 220 finish and uniformly brushed. different appplication processes such as pouring, spraying,and misting were employed to create layering effects. The result was a series of non-representational pieces that explored material surface finishes.
