Bronze Bracelet

The bronze bracelet acts as a maquette for a sculpture. Due to the luxury of the material it was built to have the dual purpose of being a wearable item in the form of a bracelet.Usuing a 3/9” bronze cylinder the ends were forged into a taper.the order of operatons were heating,hammering, planishing, filing, sanding, and polishing. The piece is nested into a pillowed wax walnut base.
