Bechdel Plant Machinery Sculpture

I was able to help Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. fill a void in their space by using their seal as inspiration and some clever design work. The flat panels are spaced away from each other to achieve a sense of depth from cast shadows, overlapping objects, and contrast in color. This was installed in pieces some 12’-14’ above the floor viewable from the lobby and a window on the second floor. The piece stands 10’ tall and over 19’ wide. This was a blast and has all the gears turning for future pieces.
